I Heart Unexpected Gifts

My FI and I have been helping my Mom get her car fixed (she was in a recent fender bender). She's such a sweetie. As a thank you for our help she gave us a bunch of goodies from my favorite store in the world...Anthropologie!! She knows we love the store, and coincidentally we had just popped in the Santa Monica store a few days ago to browse around.

Here are some of the things Mom got us...

The Capri Blue Candle. This is our favorite candle in the world! It smells like heaven. I am a bath person, and I love to light this candle during my relaxing soaks. It normally comes in a big, dark blue tub, but Mom found it in this adorable gold covered jar.

A Change Bowl. This beautiful green bowl is way too pretty for change. We may just have to save up and buy a set of them for the kitchen.

Monogrammed Mug. Lawrence (my FI) got a mug with an "L" on it which he loves.

And I got an adorable long sleeved ruched tee (which I can't find a picture on their website). All in all, my mom went overboard with her "little gesture". We were touched to get such thoughtful, cute presents. It makes me feel thankful to have people in my life who I love so dearly.

Hug the people you love and never take them for granted. Without them, we would never be the people we are today.
