My Favorite Wedding Movies

29 October 2008

I love a good wedding movie. Always have, always will. Here are some of my all-time favorites.

Father of the Bride: This movie is a classic. I watched it a few nights ago. Still lovin' it.

Four Weddings and a Funeral: My eighth grade teacher got in trouble for showing us this movie in class. I went to Catholic school. Need I remind anyone that the first 20 words of this movie are the F-word?

Wedding Crashers: Coincidentally, they filmed scenes from this movie at our wedding venue!
My Big Fat Greek Wedding: Don't need to be Greek to love this one; just have to have a quirky, crazy family!

A couple recent ones...

Made of Honor: Patrick Dempsey being cute. Best first kiss scene...when they kiss at the bar in Scotland during her bachelorette party. Nice.

Rachel Getting Married: Serious, but great depiction of a family and a wedding.

I swear I am not a representative for Netflix or Blockbuster. Just a sucker for a good wedding movie. I know I'm missing some. What is your favorite wedding movie?

I racked my brain for the past little while and couldn't come up with any other movies. I liked Big Fat Greek Wedding and Wedding Crashers.

Oh I thought of it: The Wedding Singer! So funny!
