It doesn’t really matter what any of us think about Miley Cyrus. She’s like 18 years old, and worth a billion dollars. (If not more?) I guess she wins.
But anyway, I often listen to The Climb, because it inspires me and sometimes when I feel like giving up on life, it makes me cry. I’m a big sap like that. Also, I’m not gonna lie. I want to see her new movie, The Last Song. But not for her, for Greg Kinnear. I love him, and he makes me cry, too. Seriously – try and make it through As Good As It Gets without sobbing like a baby. If you can do it, then maybe you’re a robot (like my dad and brother who don’t cry in movies). They also don’t cry during Hallmark movies or during particularly touching commercials. Maybe I’m the one with a problem? Oh well, being a cry baby is just a part of who I am. Despite an embarrassing moment or two, I wouldn’t trade it for the world. And while I’m on the subject, I think more men need to let out a good cry or two. It might help them. Just sayin.

Lyrics from The Climb
I can almost see it
That dream I’m dreaming but
There’s a voice inside my head sayin,
You’ll never reach it,
Every step I’m taking,
Every move I make feels
Lost with no direction
My faith is shaking but I
Got to keep trying
Got to keep my head held high

There’s always going to be another mountain
I’m always going to want to make it move
Always going to be an uphill battle,
Sometimes I’m going to have to lose,
Ain’t about how fast I get there,
Ain’t about what’s waiting on the other side
It’s the climb

The struggles I’m facing,
The chances I’m taking
Sometimes they might knock me down but
No I’m not breaking
I may not know it
But these are the moments that
I’m going to remember most yeah
Just got to keep going
And I,
I got to be strong
Just keep pushing on,
cause

There’s always going to be another mountain
I’m always going to want to make it move
Always going to be an uphill battle,
Sometimes I’m going to have to lose,
Ain’t about how fast I get there,
Ain’t about what’s waiting on the other side
It’s the climb

There’s always going to be another mountain
I’m always going to want to make it move
Always going to be an uphill battle,
Somebody’s you’re going to have to lose,
Ain’t about how fast I get there,
Ain’t about what’s waiting on the other side
It’s the climb

Keep on moving
Keep climbing
Keep the faith baby
It’s all about
It’s all about
The climb
Keep the faith
Keep your faith

Oh trust me, I have cried WAY more than my fair share of times over "The Climb". That song is a tearjerker… no shame!

I am definitely a cryer. I cry when I'm sad AND when I'm overcome with joy. Cracks me up.

People have a hard time pronouncing my Korean name too… but what can ya do? 😉 I'll be sure to post pictures of my tat!!

Big fan of that song too. Not of "her" necessarily, but it's well written, has wide appeal, and is poignant. I love it!

I love Miley….I think she is so funny and people are too quick to judge her! Her show is HILARIOUS (my daughters made me watch it once, and since then I was hooked!). My sister and I will be having a sisters day out this weekend and go see that movie, can't wait! I love "The Climb" its such a beautiful song. I am also loving her new song "When I look at You" that makes me cry too (just talking about it I just started to cry).

"When I Look at You" Lyrics:
    Everybody needs inspiration,
    Everybody needs a song
    A beautiful melody
    When the nights so long

    Cause there is no guarantee
    That this life is easy…

Yea when my world is falling apart
When there's no light to break up the dark
    That's when I, I…
    I look at you

    When the waves
Are flooding the shore and I can't
    Find my way home anymore
    That's when I, I…
    I look at you

When I look At You I see forgiveness
    I see the truth
You love me for who I am
Like the stars Hold the moon
    Right there where they belong
And I Know I'm Not Alone.

Yea when my world is falling apart
When there's no light to break up the dark
    That's when I, I…
    I look at you

    When the waves
Are flooding the shore and I can't
    Find my way home anymore
    That's when I, I…
    I look at you

You appear just like a dream to me
    Just like Kaleidoscope colors that
Cover Me, All I need every
Breath that I breathe don't you know
    You're beautiful…

    Yea Yea Yea

    When the waves
Are flooding the shore and I can't
    Find my way home anymore
    That's when I, I…
    I look at you
    I look at you

    Yea Yea Oh OH OH

And you appear Just like a dream
    To me.

The Mister often tells me that one of his favorite things about me (or, what he thinks is too cute) is that I cry every Sunday during Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. 🙂 If there were such a thing as Best Sap in a Leading Role, I would at least be in the running. He'd kill me for saying this, but Mr. CW DID cry a little during The Notebook. He admitted that it completely wrecked him and he didn't see the ending coming! It was one of the most endearing things I've ever seen!

I cry a lot too! I agree, more men should cry. I bet they'd feel a whole lot better.

@Chicken Wing: Extreme Home Makeover gets me EVERY time! I'm a mess after I watch that show. And, ummm, The Notebook, is one of L and I's favorite movies. We both cried our eyes out. L will KILL me for telling you this, but he read several Nicholas Sparks books in college, and cried while reading them. He's a crier, and I love it! LOL.
@Jeana: Hey, newlywed!! 🙂 Thanks for sharing the lyrics to her new song. I'm totally tearing up! I think L and I are going to see the movie this weekend, too. Have fun!!!
@Taj Acosta: Thanks and welcome to the blog! I agree. Crying is a good thing!
