I am slightly obsessed with Emily of Cupcakes and Cashmere and her amazing fashion sense. I also love that she usually features her fabulous outfits in the airy outdoors of L.A.’s backdrop. Basically, she’s hot. And I like hot.
I have especially enjoyed Emily’s “How To’s”. She has tutorials on fun beauty stuff like how to create beach wavy hair and the perfect smokey eye. Her latest tutorial teaches you how to style your hair into a cool braid. My final look rarely resembles hers (mainly because…well, I’m Asian. My eyes are different, my hair is different, you get the picture), but, nonetheless, I love trying out her tips!

I haven't checked them out yet. I searched for a long time for tutorials on beachy wavy hair. I could never find any that looked like real beachy wavy hair. Recently I figured it out on my own through trial and error. I use a Bed Head wavy hair product and scruch while blow drying. Then I use a curling iron and random sections for a short period of time. Totally works!

@amy: I'll have to try your method. My stick straight Japanese hair doesn't hold much of a curl unless my hairdresser works on it! So frustrating!
