Holy crap I’ve been gone for awhile. I haven’t blogged in so long that the thought of blogging actually makes me kinda nervous 🙂

I just wanted to pop back in and wish everyone happy holidays!

It’s been raining like CRAZY in L.A. for the past few days, which is actually pretty hilarious, if you ask me. What’s so funny? L.A. people and their inability to properly deal with weather change. (i.e. Let’s be smart and go 85 mph in the far left lane down the freeway, hydroplane, and almost hit all surrounding cars, as well as the center divider. BRILLIANT.)

I have been motoring around doing all of my Christmas shopping, last minute-style (is there any other way?) Today I waited behind a lady at Nordstrom Rack (had to use my Groupon before 12/31!) who literally had an entire shopping cart filled with clothes, shoes, toys, etc. She was also wearing a coat and a cap with the tags and sensors still attached. I guess she liked them so much that she couldn’t wait to leave the store before she put them on.

You go, girl.

It reminded me of those people (me in college) who stand in line at the grocery store with a box of half-eaten cookies, and an already empty orange juice bottle. They just couldn’t help themselves!

In other news, there are a lot of movies out right now that I really want to see. This is rare because I’m not a huge movie gal. I know, I’m weird.

Here’s my list:

Black Swan (Looks creeeepy)
Rabbit Hole (Looks depressing, but I like Nicole Kidman)
The Fighter (I’m obsessed with Amy Adams right now. Love her! If you don’t know who I’m talking about watch Sunshine Cleaning, Leap Year, and Julie & Julia, and get back to me.)

I also recently watched The Social Network. I hate to say it, but it was mostly mediocre. Maybe I was disappointed because everyone hyped it up so much and I was expecting perfection? A computer nerd outsmarts some elitist jocks and successfully steals the idea for Facebook. Said computer nerd is also incapable of most normal human interaction. Am I missing something? I just wasn’t impressed.

Ok, enough babbling. I’ve got to go wrap about a zillion Christmas presents. Hopefully I’ll be back soon.

Happy Holidays, everyone!!!

Was your groupon for Nordstrom Rack that 1/2 off thing? I kept hearing about that but didn't get it. Darn.

Anyway, thank you for the sweet comment. We're super excited about the baby. I hope you enjoy the holidays as well. 🙂

I saw The Fighter and The Black Swan in the same weekend. I only go to the movies once every few months at best, so that was huge for me! I loved them both. The Fighter was really great, Christian Bale and Amy Adams stole the show with amazing acting. Black Swan was good in a "this is crazy, screwed-up, I don't get what's going on" type way.

    I recommend both!

I can not WAIT to see Black Swan and Josh wants to see The Fighter… and Marky Mark is in it? So I'm not putting up much resistance.

@BigAppleNosh: Thanks, Serena! Have a very Merry Christmas!

@Amy: Yes, it was! Hopefully it will come around again soon.

@Gabrielle: Thanks so much for the recommendations! Now I can't wait to see both 🙂

@Layla: Mark W. sans shirt the entire movie. I think we can handle that 😉
