Another month...

...wasted.

This month is hitting me hard, and I'm pretty sad.

I am taking some of your advice, and scheduling an appointment with my gyno. I finally feel ready to get my head out of my ass and get some real testing done.

I'll let you know how it goes.

Fuck my life.

P.S. I know this post comes at the heels of my other one where I complained about how all good news post-marriage = pregnancy, but, oh well, this is my life. A lot of ups and downs and utter confusion.

  1. Sorry Carly. That sucks. So much.

Make the appointment, hopefully that'll make you feel a little better. A little more in control of something that is so out of your control.

  4. @Colleen C: Thanks, dear. I think you're right. I need to gain some control back. It's these out of control feelings that are the worst!

@Amber: Thank you Amber! You are always a comfort to me. Give Piper a hug for me. I could use a cute baby hug today :)

@J. Darling: Thanks, J! I'm gonna go read my intimacy post again right now :)

  6. I know the feeling. I am so up and down sometimes too. I was totally into the idea of having a baby RIGHT NOW- for about a day, not even a whole day, then right back to being repulsed by the idea...until I see that freaking adorable baby print fabric at Joann... Definitely agree with Matthew&Rachel- the roller coaster emotions your period brings can be a crazy bitch of a ride. I do think it's a good idea to get tested though, one less variable you have to worry about.

  7. Oh lady. Hormones and emotions can suck my ass- last week they kicked and I tried to kick back, but I am afraid they still got the better of me. I agree- get some control back into your life- go see your gyno. Good Luck. Hugs.

  12. ahhh its the worst feeling isn't it? i've had that feeling so many times. we are also having some issues but not quite sure what to do yet. we recently found out we were pregnant only to start bleeding the next night :( its the second time i've had a miscarriage or chemical pregnancy so i'm starting to worry that there is something wrong even though everyone keeps telling me this is common. i've been thinking about making appointments too so reading this has given me a little push to take charge as well. big hugs through this process.

  15. Thanks, friends! Your thoughts and encouragement are lifting my spirits right now! It's been a rough day.

@charms: I'm so, so sorry. I had no idea you were going through that. What a roller coaster of emotions :( Sending you lots of hugs and good thoughts. Also, it can't hurt to make an appointment, just to get checked out. This is what I'm learning...xoxo

  16. Ugh, I'm so sorry. It's weird how some months you just move on and other months it hurts so badly. I had a rough time this time too. There's nothing I can say to make it better. It has been my experience that after the first day or two of the period, things do seem brighter. Right now your hormones are crazy and it is so hard to be positive. The optimism will come back though!

  17. Keep your head up! With my recent events and finding the fibroid and cyst, i learned so much in just researching that things like certian fibroids can really effect you - and can (fairly) easily be treated and then you go on to make babies fairly easily. Not saying that is what it is, but just that - going to a gyno can possibly help you find out if there is anythin physical or if its just an unexplained timing thing that'll work itself out. Good luck and stay positive! Enjoy your time with just you two to help alleviate the stress!

    Thinking of you!
