It’s haircut time!! For the past six months, I’ve been saying I want my long hair back, and have just been trimming it, and waiting patiently for it to grow. But now that the weather is heating up, I am (once again) considering chopping it off. It takes so long to dry. It is currently almost to the middle of my back. I’m also choosing between growing out my blunt bangs or keeping them. I know. Big decisions, people.

Here’s where I need your help. I am very indecisive when it comes to my hair. I hem and haw over what to do, but somehow it always ends up looking the same. Asian hair curse, perhaps? Yet, I’m gonna take my chances once again and summon the hope to believe it will be different this time.

My current hair looks like this:

Here are my hair inspirations:

#1. Keep the blunt bangs, and cut my hair shorter like Michelle Monaghan.

#2. Grow out my bangs, and cut my hair shorter. By the way, my hair crush has always been the gorgeous Jessica Alba.

#3. Just trim my hair, and keep growing it long. Keep my bangs, and go to bed every night dreaming that I will wake up looking like Olivia Wilde.

#4. Chop it off. Go big or go home.
#5. My worst nightmare, realized.
#6. None of the above. I have another idea which I will explain in the comments.
#7. I am of no help, and I suck.

Thank you, dear readers! I will share the final decision and result with you soon. But be forewarned, there is a possibility I will leave the salon looking exactly the same.

I think #4 would be so so cute on you! I absolutely love short hair…on other people.

Of course, #5 would be smashing too…HA. xo

#2 Jessica Alba. It's a cute in between.

haha @#7! I absolutely LOVE your bangs and would keep them if I were you (though I'm totally bang-biased being a bang-wearer myself). I think your hair looks beautiful as-is, but I totally know the feeling of needing a cut when it gets hot. I'd probably go with option #1 or #4…or somewhere inbetween 😉

Hmm, I think I would vote for #1. I love your bangs and if you are looking for something different, but not too different, I think that would be perfect!

Go big or go home!!! I tend to grow my hair super long and then say, "Eff it," and chop it ALL off…Only to grow it out long again. Hair is hait…It'll grow back. However, if chopping it all off is a bit extreme, then I vote for #1 – you look GREAT in bangs!

Keep the bangs, whatever you do. They are so chic on you and set off your gorgeous eyes. If I was going to vote for a length, it'd be #4! Cut it short during the summer, let it grow out during the winter.

I like #1 — It would be so chic and I've always thought you looked beautiful with your bangs (although you could pull off anything!)

I'm a big fan of the Jessica Alba look — and don't lose your bangs! They look great on you.

I'm tempted to say – chop! But only do that if you are really committed.

I'm between 1 and 4 — I think your bangs rock .. but 4 is a bit short! I would start the bob at your chin, rather then at the ears like this photo. Either way I agree with everyone else — keep the bangs!

I've always wished that I could pull off bangs the way you do! #1 is such a great look + not too huge of a jump from where you are now. On the other hand, if you're up for a huge jump… inside I'm secretly chanting "FOUR! FOUR!" Excited to see what you choose!

I think #2 and #3 would look great! I also love the bob, but it seems a bit more "mature" than youthful…I guess it depends on what look you're going for 🙂

I like #4, and having Native American hair (aka stick straight, long, and heavy) I can relate somewhat! #4 also has some long layers to it. I usually do something similiar (w/o the bangs) and I love it. It feels SO much lighter, and it grows out really well. But I'm a semi-annual haircut person – I LOVE low matienence!

I like #4 for you. I think you would look like a ROCK STAR. Plus it is super easy to maintain and hopefully you could experiment with a bunch of different styles :o)

I'm having antsy haircut issues too! Pretty soon I will be chopping off 16 inches and it make me quite nervous, but #4 screams Adventure!

It's so easy to say go with #4 when it's not your own hair…you know? That being said, it will grow back, be courageous?

    #1 or #4. go balls out…
at least you'll always look "styled"

will you be able to pull it back though? or headband?

Oooh I really do love #4 – but I might also be saying this because I'm contemplating cutting mine off in a similar way some time soon. P.S. – do you follow The Glamourai? Her hair is seriously my favorite and it reminds me ofyour #4 picture.

I can't wait to see what you do!!! 🙂
