I am looking forward to a slow summer weekend! Brunch with my grandparents, a couple of evening walks with the pups, perhaps some cleaning/organizing thrown in? I’ve been sneaking away on Netflix, and watching classic films lately. It’s my little indulgence. Earlier in the week, I watched Dial M for Murder for the first time, and loved it! Perhaps I’ll find another gem to watch this weekend?

The above photo was taken at the beach in Santa Monica. I find myself consistently grateful to live in such a beautiful place. I honestly can’t complain.

Anyone else spending a quiet couple of days at home?
Regardless of your plans, have a wonderful weekend! Enjoy yourselves.

A quiet weekend? What's that? lol
Tonight is date night w/ my guy! It'll probably be a "date night in" filled with good steaks, good wine, and some fun board games.

Tomorrow it's off to the rock climbing gym and then rehearsal.
Sunday, my guy has duty, so he'll be gone for about 2 days. I have rehearsal.

So I suppose Monday will be quiet. lol

We've traveled out of state for the last five weekends in a row, so we've told everyone that we're traveling again this weekend but we're really holing up to wait out the heat wave! I plan on cooking, sleeping, and reading and that is IT. 🙂

Good classic if you haven't seen it already: Some Like It Hot. I totally fell in love with Tony Curtis after watching.

    Enjoy your weekend!

I used to thrive on busy weekends, filled to the brim with plans and events. But now, I love staying home and being in bed before 10pm. Enjoy the weather! Here in Toronto we've been melting!

My husband has been introducing me to all sorts of great classic movies. Have you seen Rear Window yet? If not, you must add it to your netflix!
